Iron Maiden – No Prayer For The Dying

Today I have a Maiden mood. What could be better on the rainy cool evening, than a British classic Metal… I have many Iron Maiden vinyl records, but this one is actually one of my favorites in a design aspect. The album released in 1990 is not in a list of the band’s bests, but definitely pulls the attention with several songs like “Bring Your Daughter… to the Slaughter”, for example, that is one of my favorite Maiden songs. So, back to design of the LP, this is definitely one of the beautiful vinyl records in my collection. Released in 2001, 180gram LP has all album’s illustrations right on it.

The album has ten songs. My favorites are: “Tailgunner”, “Holy Smoke”, “No Prayer for the Dying”, “The Assassin” , “Bring Your Daughter… to the Slaughter”  and “Mother Russia”. You see, more than half of the album has great compositions, so hell knows why it got a low rating and so poor reviews. Yes, there are Maiden’s albums that you can’t skip a single song, that’s not the case, I agree, but for my opinion it should get at least an average mark, because of 60% high quality content. Am I right?
